Jackafluffies are the brainchild of our very own Halfwit Genius. Here's what she has to say about them:

Jackafluffy - This creature is evidently a distant relative of the jackalope. Genetic research has little to say about the jackafluffy, as efforts to obtain a blood sample, tissue sample or indeed, anything but a fluff sample, have not met with success. More zealous attempts have proven that jackafluffy antlers are, in fact, quite sharp.

Observation of jackafluffy social behavior indicates asexual reproduction, as no mating behaviors have been observed and there is no discernible way to differentiate male from female jackafluffies. Jackafluffies most often travel in pairs or in larger groups of six to ten. One of these groups is called a "sproing". They seem to feed on cacti, wild grasses or the sonic energy of people going "Awwwwwwwwwww...."

Jackafluffy anatomy has 8 main elements: eyes, nose, mouth, ears, antlers, tails, paws and fluff. It is important to note that, due to scale, a jackafluffy's eyes will encompass roughly 15-20% of its total body mass. It is suggested that this visual acuity coupled with a jackafluffy's prodigious leap, allows it to scope out open ground and spot predators while still far enough out to flee. A commonly noted flaw in this theory, however, is that observers have yet to identify any predators with an overwhelming interest in fluff.

When introduced to human society, jackafluffies resort almost exclusively to their sonic method of feeding. If entrusted with the care of a jackafluffy, be sure to give it plenty of cuddles and note its cuteness often.
