The Center for Animal Research and Education (CARE) was established to Provide for the rescue, rehabilitation, and holistic nurturing of sick, injured, and abused Big Cats. CARE is dedicated to providing these majestic creatures with a safe habitat so they can live with dignity and comfort. CARE also provides a permanent home and stability for retired performing cats whose fate would otherwise be uncertain. Founded in 2003 as a non-profit public benefit corporation (ID #03-0520301), CARE Provides a safe and loving home to 10 Ring-tailed lemurs, 6 Mountain Lions, 5 Black and Spotted Leopards, 1 Snow Leopard, 4 African Lions, and 32 Orange and White Tigers. The facility is desperately in need of supplies and funds for upkeep and construction of additional habitats. Come meet the head of CARE, Derek Krahn. He'll be happy to talk to you and sell you lots of neat cat related swag in the dealers den!

If you would like to donate salable items to be auctioned at Furry Fiesta, please contact our Charity Liaison with details! Please note that while CARE is a 501(c)(3) Furry Fiesta and D.R.A.M.A. are not, and donations are not Tax deductible.
